DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - Senior Level (Chicago 60613)

Switchfast Technologies is an I.T. Service Provider serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  We have opportunities available for experienced Support Technicians who seek change, career growth, and a supportive environment they can succeed in.  Support Technicians are the centerpiece of our Operations department.  Day-to-day they are delivering on two promises - Excellent technical support and customer service.

You will be successful in this role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualities: 

  • 3+ Years supporting Windows desktops and laptops, onsite and remote, in a business environment...ideally with a Managed Services Provider.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server (MS Exchange, Active Directory, Domain Controllers) in a business environment
  • Managed requests using a ticketing system.  It's awesome if you've used ConnectWise.
  • Proficiency in business IT Management Principles (work planning, testing, proactive maintenance routines, data integrity, security).
  • Hold one or more current certifications applicable to our business: A+, Net+, HDI Desktop, MTA, MCSA, CCENT, CCNA are good examples.
  • Excelled in a customer service driven role.  Extraordinary attention to detail.  Consistently going the extra mile for the team.  Ambition for continued improvement and career growth.

This is a full-time (hourly + overtime) position.  Salary is based on your experience, technical aptitude (which we will test in our recruiting process), industry certifications you currently hold, and overall alignment to the needs of our team.
